Can my business get a discount for buying tickets in bulk?
We have a corporate discount program with a required minimum order of 200 tickets. We offer this discount to businesses and organizations as part of our outreach to the local community. The discount consists of an admission ticket that is valid for films no matter what the show time although they cannot be used for special features (usually indicated on our showtimes page by an asterisk). We sell the Reduced Admission Tickets for $5.50 per ticket.
Some small businesses and large corporations have a supply of these tickets that employees can purchase prior to their visit to the theater. Most corporations view this as a service that it provides to their employees. Other companies split the cost of the Reduced Admission Ticket with their employees, thus giving a larger benefit to the employees. Some companies even give the Reduced Admission Tickets to their employees at no cost, usually as recognition for job well done, holidays or as an incentive.
If you are interested in our Reduced Admission Ticket program, please contact us and ask for Rob McHone.

Will you support my event?
We are locally owned and operated and we take pride in contributing to the community that has valued and supported our efforts to bring great movies to Greensboro over the years. While our primary objective is to continue to give Greensboro movie-goers the best possible cinematic experience, the Carousel is willing to do what it can to help our city be a better place to live and work by providing donations, special events and other activities. If you would like sponsorship or donations from us please follow these guidelines:
Your request needs to be either mailed or faxed to us (see Contact us page). It should be on your organization's letterhead and should include the following:
- The date of event
- The purpose for the request
- The amount of any donation you are requesting
- The Tax ID Number of the organization (donations)
There may be limitations on how often and when donation needs will met but we will try our best to match the needs as they are presented to us.
Will you show my film?
The Carousel Cinemas has a long history of supporting local artists and film makers and we are very interested in exhibiting locally made films. There are some criteria that must be met but if you have a film project that you feel is worthy of being seen by others then Contact us about arranging a public screening. We have the technology to make this possible without the expense of having your film converted to 35mm (ref: http://www.gotriad.com/article/articleview/1146/1/14/).
Is it cinema or cinemas?
Our website is CarouselCinemas.com but CarouselCinema.com will also get you here so you don't need to worry which spelling you use. In the old days a 'picture house' would have had only one screen so you would simply go to the cinema (singular) to see a film. At the Carousel we have 15 theaters in the same building and it just seems more friendly to refer to the building as the cinemas (plural) instead of "cinema complex" or "multiplex."
Do you have any other locations?
We have a sister site - the West End Cinemas - in Burligton. Their website is WestEndCinemas.com (and as with our website, WestEndCinema.com will also get you there).
